The phlebotomist who did my blood draw yesterday was good. No hint of bruising what so ever. This is a first. Usually there's a red dot, followed by a blurry edged hint of black and blue. I looked at my arm this morning and saw nothing.
My back's bothering me a bit. The heating pad is already in place on my writing chair downstairs, and shortly the upstairs will be plugged in. Not that I pulled anything, or the disc jelly as once again begun oozing, I'm certain it's the way I've been sleeping. There are times when the dogs don't give me much space on the bed.
The new laundry room is coming along fine. One of the original doors of the house separated the closet, back when it was a walk-in closet, from the bathroom. That door is now gone. I'm thinking of replacing it with a bifold door. They're easy to install.
I was told by one of the men working for the owner of the house next door that my neighbors were going to come down this week and clean it out. That's not true. I have texts from them. In their minds, he bought that home 'as is,' with all the furniture inside.
Here's a catchy song, whether any of the lyrics will make it into one of my books is up in the air right now, but I can definitely see one of my characters say "what me worry?"
I hope your back settles down. I will have to think about pulling out the heating pad, although mine seems to be getting back to normal. I think the booster and flu shot had more to do with it than anything else.ReplyDelete
Walking helps a lot, too. I should be getting my booster and my flu shot next week.Delete
Crikey I wouldn't fancy sharing a bed with two blooming great dogs. You're braver than I am!ReplyDelete
They're fine. Remember when your children were sleeping toddlers, well that's what they're like except Biggie's a 114 pound toddler.Delete
My 130 pound toddler, his 70 pound sister and 30 pound brother like to lay on my bed across the bed instead of head to toe. Leaves me only the option of the dog bed on the floor. And, the big guy actually has his own twin sized bed in the same bedroom.ReplyDelete
As for "what me worry?" that would have to be Bobby to which a calm voice with a French accent would reply "but of course".
Looking forward to number six and a future number seven.
In other words you're definitely ready for a 3 Dog Night. Jules is the calm, quite voice at times, isn't he?Delete
I'm waiting for the next tantrum from Miss Lindsey. "Ah just washed mah hay-uh and ah can't do a thang with it."ReplyDelete
I'm betting he takes a plate of petite-fours in to nibble on while pleading the 5th.Delete
Oh no. Back pain is a b*tch. Ugh.ReplyDelete
And I love Portugal The Man. They have a touch of vintage in their sound I really dig.
As for Lady G, she's gonna have to go through it and that's good. Nobody is above the law.
I wonder when her kompromat is coming out...
I'm hoping Miss Lindsey spills the 5th over and over again before the midterms.Delete
