Paperbacks aren't meant to survive for this year. Their main purpose was to be read and thrown away over time.Dave Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10429379083970699093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3537843474894274857.post-6284703978205326562019-12-01T16:05:55.731-05:002019-12-01T16:05:55.731-05:00I don't know how much they're worth, but I...I don't know how much they're worth, but I'll probably hold onto them for a bit longer.Dave Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10429379083970699093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3537843474894274857.post-41616611042544045852019-12-01T16:05:12.723-05:002019-12-01T16:05:12.723-05:00I may end up keeping the books, everything appreci...I may end up keeping the books, everything appreciates in value over time.Dave Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10429379083970699093noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3537843474894274857.post-58208548557656084912019-12-01T12:34:55.704-05:002019-12-01T12:34:55.704-05:00Do you not have places where you can just drop the...Do you not have places where you can just drop the books off and anyone can take them. I honestly don't know what they would be called in English but on the outside wall of our village school they built a "beehive" and people can just put any unwanted books in there. Also our local supermarket has a bookshelf for the same. Called a "passeur de livres" - "for passing on books".Treadershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08613671137557939083noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3537843474894274857.post-73264719714963075522019-12-01T07:45:40.720-05:002019-12-01T07:45:40.720-05:00looks like scholastic books; spouse and I had plen...looks like scholastic books; spouse and I had plenty of those as kids.anne marie in phillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11765140782182605141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3537843474894274857.post-21833742046107202802019-12-01T07:38:33.000-05:002019-12-01T07:38:33.000-05:00Ha! I hope they slip and he tweets something really stupid.
As for your books, some ideas: donating them to any institution that helps children in need. They can always use some children's books, no matter how old.
Give them to the Goodwill (not the fucking Salvation Army, no!) sometimes they even pick stuff up.
Create a little mini-library in your property and supply it with your books. I've seen them all around the city. Who knows, you may start a trend.
When I moved last time, I did not know what to do with my books and I gave all the LGBTQ-themed books to the GSA in my local school and the novels to the public library (that may also receive yours!)

XOXOSixpence Notthewiserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11230453585589265578noreply@blogger.com
