I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

The Arrivals

Good morning, afternoon, or evening, where ever you may be.

Yesterday was one of them hhhhmmm days.  I had breakfast with my brother at Denny's.  I had some sort of fried dish with potatoes, sausage, onions, and peppers with 2 eggs over easy on top.  Meh.  My breakfasts at home are always much smaller, a single egg over easy, or a bowl of oatmeal.  Breakfasts out usually make me feel like I should come home and take a nap, which is what I did.  Not good.

In fact, all I really did yesterday was nap and move furniture around.  I ate some ice cream, too.  I love ice cream.  And the real stuff, not the fake crap made with hydrogenated oils.  All those calories are going to force me to work out even more.  Did you know you can eat what ever you like, as long as you burn off those non-essential calories?  The problem most people have is they love to consume but hate to burn, and so they blow up to be the size of a house.

Oh, and I went to see the new Spiderman movie last evening.  It was very good, though I will admit to wishing the producers would have just dispense with the first 20 minutes in order to get to the juicy parts.  Yes, because I knew what was coming, I was anxiously waiting the... arrivals, multiple arrivals with some serious visitation rights.  This movie's been breaking box office records with $$$ and pre-Covid movie would have been proud of, and most because of the... arrivals.  Some will call this a spoiler, I'll call it a hint, but there was a scene in which the audience screamed, and let me tell you for a Wednesday night during a Pandemic, that theater was packed, and this is a hint:

Politically speaking, we're heading into a very slow couple of days.  Christmas.  Now, I know many are praying Trump gets a lump of coal in in stocking in the form of an indictment, I don't think that's going to happen.  However, we all have something to look forward to, his January 6 presser at Mar a Lago.  He's going to shriek his Big Lie, all the while everyone else is going to visually give us his attempt at a coup.  This should be interesting.

  1. Off topic but I found this fun: yesterday Nazi Youth organizer Madison Cawthorn told young people to drop out of college and get married, and the next day Madison Cawthorn, college dropout who lied about getting into the Naval Academy, filed for divorce from his wife.
You cannot make this shiz up.

    1. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Cawthorn was actually a 'catcher' in disguise.
