Can you Imagine

Okay, today is the first day of the last month of 2021.  Time for me to flip the calendar.

I walked almost 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday.  Fun stuff.  My mind gets really creative.  How do I know?  I had another one of my different dreams last night.  Very vivid at times.  Suffice to say that someone saying "the town is being invaded by naked robot men," indicates how memorable it was.

Okay, so how odd is this?  The evening I watched Journey to the Center of the Earth, Arlene Dahl, the romantic lead, died. She was 96.

Yesterday Bob posted something about JK Rowling, here's my 2 cents.  Some people are furious she has not jumped aboard the trans train; they thought she was going to be an ally.  No matter how much it grates the cheese in your heart, she is entitled to her opinion.  It is a fact that three people were so outraged they posted pictures of her address on their individual Twitter accounts, pictures that were retweeted numerous times to who knows how many people.  It is also a fact that they are  being investigated by Scotland Yard.  As a not so gentle reminder, Mark David Chapman, an obsessive fan, discovered where John Lennon lived and shot him four times outside his Manhattan apartment.  Can you even Imagine the blowback the Trans community, and these 3 individuals, would feel if something similar was even attempted on Rowling?  The movement would be set back for decades.  Is that what you want?

On a lighter note, Milky Chance has released a cover of Tainted Love that is so twistedly good.  Sadly, no naked robot men make an appearance.

And finally, I see Mark Meadows is talking to the January 6 committee, albeit through his attorneys, but communication is happening.  I do not doubt for a minute this is because he now realizes the courts are going to give the committee all the communications from the day of the attempted coup.

  1. JK Rowling sent her Flying Monkeys after the activists. What if they were killed.
Two sides. One spreads hate, JK.

    1. Disagree completely. So, you're going to attack everyone who disagrees with you.

    2. I think that Bob is saying that they both played the same game: the Trans activists took pics in front of JK's house. She then 'sent' her millions of followers to doxx the activists. The activists deactivated their Twitter accounts. JK is still tweeting Transphobic attacks....

  2. Oh, Mark Meadows is just stringing them along. I don't think he'll totally flip on Cheeto.
As for Rowling? Fuck her and the high transphobic horse she rides on. I understand her address is not a secret and that she tweeted back the addresses of the people who tweeted hers. No sympathy for her. She's using a huge platform to spread misinformation about a group of people.
    Tiniest violin.
And you should write about your naked robot men. Bet it's fun.

    1. Meadows will flip if it keeps him out of jail. Huge Platform? I didn't know she was holding large speaking events like Trump to spread the Big Lie. Must have missed that.

    2. Oh, JK does not need a rally. She's got 13.9 million followers who can and do amplify anything she says. Especially other TERFs. She also wrote a book where the Trans character was portrayed as a killer because she was Trans and hence psychotic. Remember, some of the more than forty Transgender people killed to date in America only were probably killed by someone who denied their being human, just like JK does every time she tweets her Transphobic 'facts' to millions of people.
BTW, both her residences are historical places. They are on Wikipedia.

    3. You really need to stop getting your information from social media... seriously. You might want to read this. https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/

    1. The lyrics become very important in this understated performance.

  4. I am sorry, but I have read what JK wrote. I don't think she has said anything hateful. Like you said, she has an opinion and it has valid points. If anything holds back the trans movement in my mind, it is how they react to people with their own opinion.

    1. Yeah, I did too, and they're only hateful if your a activist, in fact, the three people who tweeted the address were... you guessed it, trans activists.
