Bluntness

I've also been told I have little tact, so if this offends you simply ride on.

Ding Dong

So, it's Sunday.  The temps are supposed to get up to 75 (F) today.  We're going to have a line at the store.  We had one yesterday.  People are very patient.  Our big problems was shopping carts.  We're doing something called "curbside pickup" where customers buy from our .com and choose to have us run their purchases out to their vehicles.  Believe me, this is very popular  There is, however, one problem.  Customers are not always timely when it comes to picking up the items they've bought... and so the screws, and mulch, and charcoal lighter, and light bulbs sit in shopping carts waiting... and waiting.   Our aisles are filled with shopping carts, some with only a few items in them, for days because see no urgency in picking up what they've bought.  And we only have so many shopping carts.  Today is going to be the same.
The store's providing us with all sorts of snacks and treats during this pandemic crisis.  Yesterday I went into the training room and found Ding Dongs.  Yeah, Ding Dongs.  I realized I hadn't had a Ding Dong in years, so I grabbed one.

In years?   That sounds kind of personal, doesn't it?
I saw where Tara Reade gave an interview to the AP.  Now she's saying that if they 'ever' find her complaint, and she doesn't know if they will, people will find out the word she used to describe her encounter with Biden was 'retaliation.'  For what?  His staff sent her with either a gym bag (or duffel bag) to meet him in some empty hallway so he could retaliate?  She says she might have used 'sexual harassment,' but most certainly she used 'retaliation.'   Her inconsistencies are continuing to add up.  Ding Dong.
And finally, my box of books arrived yesterday.  That's right, I always order a box of books to give to my readers, and friends, and relatives, as well a couple for me.  The first thing I do is start searching for typos.  I wasn't nearly so careful with my first book, "The Body on the Lawn," and the result was typographical hell.  Things have improved greatly.   Except for one glaring typo... on the back cover of all places.  Son of a Bitch! Damn!  Ding Dong!  Do not fret, it will be fixed shortly.

  4. They're not going to find shit (on Biden). He was thoroughly vetted before being chosen as Obama's VP and this would have come up then if there was any validity to Reade's claims. It's so obvious what's going on there.

Ding Dongs?! I haven't had one in years, either, but the package doesn't look especially tempting.

    1. Yeah, the vetting bit is really being emphasized cause if the Republicans could have crucified him, they would have.

  7. I agree with what Jennifer is saying. Nothing came out when he was vetted when he was VP.
